Showcase your product or organization to our students every Wednesday on the Student Union patio. Bustling and full-of-energy, Market Day provides a unique opportunity to reach the student population.
(Wednesdays from 9am-5pm, Setup from 7:30am to 9:00am)
Reservations:
Reservations are made through the Event Services office. To make a reservation, please call 407-823-3677 or stop by Suite 312 of the Student Union during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm). You may also fill out a request form and fax it to us at 407-823-6483 or email it to us at unionres@ucf.edu
You will need to provide the following information to make a reservation:
- Name of company/organization
- Mailing address
- Contact name, phone number, and email address
- Nature of company/organization
For Registered Student Organizations (RSO’s) requesting Patio Tables on Wednesday’s during Market Day please complete a Patio Space request form.
Cost:
- $150 per day for vendors (including alumni)
- $200 per day for one of 4 designated prime locations (based on availability)
- $250 per day for a food service vendors selling products
- $75 per day for currently enrolled UCF students must provide poof of enrollment.
*The discounted rate is for students who will sell their own goods and services not a company they are employed by.
*Please note that your Market Day space is not confirmed until the charges are paid in full.
*Price includes a complimentary daily Parking Pass. Excludes UCF Students.
The cost includes use of a 10’x10’ space on the patio, (1) 6’x30” table, (2) chairs.
Tents are NOT included or provided for vendors; however, you may bring your own.
We accept several forms of payment for your convenience:
- Major credit cards (which can be processed over the phone)
- Company checks made payable to “UCF Student Union” (personal checks not accepted)

Location:
Union Market Day is an outdoor event that occurs on the uncovered patio area of the Student Union. Market Day spaces are first-come, first-served. Requests for electricity may be accommodated permitted the request be made in advance. Power sources on the patio are limited. If you plan to bring a tent, please let Event Services know.
Solicitation:
You have paid for a 10’x10’ space and may only solicit within that space. You may not venture over to the Free Assembly area, nor may you impede the traffic flow of the Student Union.

Items Prohibited:
- Credit Card vendors
- UCF Logo materials
- Eyeglasses/Sunglasses
- Books and Textbooks
- Restaurants that directly compete with or sell the same product as our vendors
- Technology (such as computers, iPods, computer software etc.)
- Posters
- Bars and Night clubs/any Happy Hour specials
- Any services that directly compete with Student Union vendors including but not limited to testing services (test, prep, and admissions), eye care, ticket sales, and Greek merchandise.
*Selection of Union Market Day vendors is at the discretion of the Student Union
The Following are Prohibited of RSOs When Tabling:
- Food or drinks cannot be given out unless prior approval has been obtained with the Event Services office
- Petitions are not to be signed or distributed during tabling
- Advertising for bars or alcohol shall not take place
- RSOs shall not partner with an outside business when tabling
- Music shall not be used when tabling except for those who have reserved the patio stage
RSO Tabling Policies for Wednesday Market Days:
- RSOs must have a reservation with the Event Services office in order to table
- Only one table may be reserved per RSO
- RSOs must check in with the Market Day staff before tabling
- Tables are chosen on a first come, first serve basis
- Tables are not to be moved
- Flyers may only be given out within 10 feet of the table
Cornerstone Tabling Policies:
- The Cornerstone group must make a reservation with Event Services in order to table
- Reservations can be made Monday-Friday if the group is strictly advertising their cause; however, if the group is looking to sell any items the reservation can only be made for Wednesdays and the charge is $75 to table
Parking:
Vendors may temporarily park in our loading dock strictly for the purpose of loading/unloading their equipment or merchandise. Vehicles remaining in the unloading area will be subject to ticketing by the Police Department.
Vendors will be given one daily parking pass and must then park in any of the “green” student lots/garages with a daily parking pass.
Market Day Food Service Vendors:
In order to give out or sell any food product on our patio we require that you submit a copy of the following documents, PRIOR to your reservation day:
- Temporary Event Permit
- Liability Insurance
- Occupational License
- Health Inspection

Once we receive a copy of those documents we will allow you to give out snack sized samples of your product. These snack sized samples should not be considered a meal replacement in any way.
If you choose to SELL your food we do require that you pay for the $250 Food Vendor location. Food vendors cannot sell or give away any product similar to vendors existing in our building.
If you are selling beverages, they must be Coke products.
* We currently only offer one food service vendor location.
